Dr. Knowles is an OVC 2011 graduate who has spent the last 10 years working in small and mixed animal general practice. She has served a wide range of clientele: practicing in rural, semi-urban and urban clinics. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and also enjoys the challenge of surgical dental extractions.

Locum2019 to 2021 – long distance/long term small animal surgical, dental and medical coverage for clinics across British Columbia
Volunteer2020 – partnered with dairy extension officers, veterinarians and dairy producers as part of the Healthy Animals and Healthy Communities Project with Veterinarians Without Borders and the Wakulima Dairy in Murkurwe-ini, Kenya
Associate2019 to 2021 – served clients and mentored new graduates for Campbell River Veterinary Hospital in Campbell River, British Columbia
Volunteer2018 – high volume, low technology spay/neuter services as well as non-elective surgery and medical care for owned and un-owned dogs and cats for Maun Animal Welfare Society in Maun, Botswana
Associate2017 to 2018 – served clients and provided emergency services for North Island Veterinary Hospital in Port Hardy, British Columbia and their satellite clinic in Port McNeill, British Columbia
